Astrophysicists get excited beyond all reason because a black hole, V404 Cygni, has just erupted for the first time in 26 years. We also touch on the unfortunate loss of the Space-X ISS supply mission in July 2015, witnessed firsthand, as it turns out, by WtG-ers Addie and Tracy. In happier news New Horizons successfully encountered Pluto, Rosetta and Philae continue their comet exploration, and Dawn continues its studies of the asteroid Ceres.
